If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. The Personal Data Protection Office offers you an even more flexible opportunity: sign up in the Case Management System where you can submit a complaint, follow the process of hearing your complaint and receive comprehensive information - all in one virtual space.

In order to familiarize themselves with the changes stipulated by the New Law of Georgia “On Personal Data Protection”, the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia held another working meeting.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure. Representatives from St. Tbilisi City Council, Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly, the City Hall, district administrations, LEPLs in the system/subordination, sub-departmental institutions of non-entrepreneurial legal entities, and other organizations exercising public authority were present.

The meeting was opened by the First Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, Dr. Otar Chakhunashvili, with a welcome speech.  

"From March 1, 2024, the new law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection" comes into force, which regulates a number of issues differently from the current law. The service has already held meetings with representatives of various sectors, and we will continue to do so actively. The Service will spare no effort to ensure that all public and private organizations are ready to meet the implementation of the law," stated Dr. Otar Chakhunashvili.

Ketevan Kratashvili, Head of the Public Sector Oversight Department, provided detailed information to the attending public about the terms changed by the new law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection", the updated bases and principles of data processing, and the rights of data subjects.

Shavleg Todua, Acting Head of the Legal Department, spoke about audio and video monitoring, the priority of data coverage, data recording, and breach notification to the Service.

Sofia Shamugia, Head of the Department of the Planned Inspections, made a presentation on Data Protection Impact Assessment, Personal Data Protection Officer, and changes in fines.

Ia Kifiani, Head of the Law Enforcement Sector Oversight Department, presented detailed information about the incident and the obligation to report data breaches to the Service.

The meeting was held in interactive mode. The attending public had the opportunity to discuss in detail important issues and specific cases.

The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia will actively continue to hold sectorial and various format meetings to increase awareness about the law.
