Its purpose is to develop internationally comparable statistical data on data protection and privacy and, to this end, study the experience of data protection supervisory authorities.
In the scope of the report, Ana Tokhadze spoke about the activities carried out and planned by the Working Group. For the sake of adopting the action plan and priority activities, the Working Group held several internal meetings during the year. For this purpose, meetings and consultations were also carried out with the "Strategic Direction Sub-Committee" of the Assembly. The Working Group assisted the GPA Secretariat in developing a census questionnaire to be sent to the GPA member authorities. To increase the Working Group's effectiveness and expand the representation of GPA members within it, the Spanish Personal Data Protection Supervisory Authority joined the WG in September. At the end of the report, Ana Tokhadze reviewed the working group's action plan's future activities and strategic development directions.
