The Students of the Village of Kveshi, Located Near the Occupation Line, Were Trained on Personal Data Protection Issues
2023-03-02 11:00:39The President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia — Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili, the First Deputy President — Dr. Otar Chakhunashvili, Deputy President — Gela Gelashvili, as well as other representatives of the Service visited the public school of Kveshi village and held a meeting with students and teachers.
According to Lela Janashvili, the educational field is one of the main priorities for the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia. On the one hand, the inviolability of students' personal information and the other hand, strengthening the culture of data protection among the students themselves is of particular importance and for this purpose, the Service carries out various types of activities.
Researcher-analysts of the Service — Gvantsa Gabaidze and Nino Tsagareishvili,
gave an interactive lesson on the importance of personal data protection to more than 70 students of the 7th - 12th grades and presented gifts to them.
It should be noted that the village of Kveshi is located near the occupation line in Shida Kartli, and students from the village of Kvemo Artsevi are also attending this public school.
The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia will actively continue training sessions in educational institutions and various activities for minors in general in the future.
