If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. Statement of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia

On February 15, 2023, the Special Penitentiary Service (a state sub-departmental institution in the system of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia) published the video recordings of the imprisoned Mikheil Saakashvili's stay at the medical institution.

As soon as the video recordings were published, the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 40¹³ of the Law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection", upon its initiative, immediately started an inspection in order to study the lawfulness of the disclosure of Mikheil Saakashvili's personal data.

As it is known to the public, the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia is examining the lawfulness of the disclosure of the video recordings of Mikheil Saakashvili's stay at the medical facility on December 14, 2022, in connection with which the actions necessary to make a summary decision are actively being carried out.

The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia will inform society regarding the results of the examination additionally.
