If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. The Personal Data Protection Office offers you an even more flexible opportunity: sign up in the Case Management System where you can submit a complaint, follow the process of hearing your complaint and receive comprehensive information - all in one virtual space.

Working Meeting in Extended Format Was Held with the Employees of Approximately 40 Companies That Are Members of the Georgian Business Association

The President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia — Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili, the First Deputy President — Dr. Otar Chakhunashvili and other representatives of the Service held a working meeting in an extended format with employees of 40 companies that are members of the Georgian Business Association.

The meeting was opened by the Executive Director of the Georgian Business Association — Levan Vepkhvadze, and the President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia — Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili.

“Protection of personal information is a challenge of the modern world. The Georgian law on personal data protection is already 10 years old, but we should be able to gradually step up to modern challenges. We must establish a culture of personal data protection. The meeting with the representatives of the business sector has a special importance, because here you gather the people whose activities are related to processing a large volume of personal data”. — said Lela Janashvili, President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia. 

"The protection of personal data and the correct processing of data is an important issue for business, since the protection of personal data in accordance with modern standards and best practices is one of the priorities of business operators, which, in turn, directly affects the quality of services provided to customers. We positively evaluate a dialogue of a similar format, since direct communication is a necessary prerequisite for the establishment of correct practices." — said the Executive Director of the Georgian Business Association, Levan Vepkhvadze.

The Head of the Private Sector Oversight Department — Archil Javelidze, and the Deputy Head — Mariam Gaiparashvili, gave a detailed presentation about the functions, mission and activities of the Service to the representatives of the companies participating in the meeting.

The meeting was held in interactive mode. The conversation touched upon the challenges and identified problems in the private sector in terms of personal data processing. Also, the issue of taking the organizational and technical measures by the companies, which are assigned to them by the legislation, and the importance of introducing a culture of data protection in private institutions was also emphasized.
