The State Inspector, Londa Toloraia Met with the Representatives of the Member Organizations of the German Business Association (DWV)
2021-06-10 15:46:23In the course of the meeting, the State Inspector discussed current challenges related to personal data protection in private sector and topical issues such as data processing using modern technologies, data processing when providing online/distance services and in labour relations; also, issues related to effective realization of the rights related to data security and data protection of consumers.
Additionally, the participants were introduced to the planned amendments to the personal data protection legislation and future plans for cooperation with private sector.
The representatives of more than 40 organizations attended the meeting. The participants asked questions relevant to them.The State Inspector’s Service, as an entity charged with controlling personal data protection in the country, is interested in raising personal data protection standard both in public and private sector. Similar meetings and enhancement of coordination will significantly promote protection of data security, data processing in accordance with the law and prevention of violations. The State Inspector’s Service welcomes initiatives from private sector and expresses its readiness to continue active cooperation.
