If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. The Personal Data Protection Office offers you an even more flexible opportunity: sign up in the Case Management System where you can submit a complaint, follow the process of hearing your complaint and receive comprehensive information - all in one virtual space.

The State Inspector, Londa Toloraia Discussed the Draft Law On “Protection of Personal Data” With Non-Governmental Organizations

The State Inspector’s Service and the Institute of Development of Freedom of Information” (IDFI) organized and held a working meeting to discuss the draft law on “Personal Data Protection”, together with the representatives of non-governmental organizations.

The Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration of the Parliament of Georgia, Sophio Kiladze opened the event and discussed the amendments envisaged by the law and their importance.

The State Inspector, Londa Toloraia addressed to the representatives of the non-governmental organizations and discussed existing challenges in the country in terms of personal data protection and access to the public information. As the State Inspector highlighted, the State Inspector’s Service aims that the new law should establish more effective mechanisms of personal data protection fully in line with international standards.  “participation of non-governmental sector in the process of elaboration of the above-mentioned draft law is very important. It should be emphasized that unlawful processing of personal data has adverse impact on human rights and freedoms, their private life and we should do our best to prevent those negative outcomes”- highlighted Londa Toloraia.  The Executive Director of the Institute of Development of Freedom of Information, Giorgi Kldiashvili highlighted the need for sound legislative mechanisms and talked about the importance to strike  a balance between personal data protection and freedom of access to information. 

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the State Inspector’s Service, civil society and media.
