Londa Toloraia assumed the authority of the State Inspector

From 3 July on, Londa Toloraia will lead the State Inspector’s Service of Georgia. Today, the new State Inspector officially took the responsibilities and duties from Tamar Kaldani.

Londa Toloraia thanked to Tamar Kaldani for the activities carried out since the establishment of the Office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector, for its development and its recognition on national and international levels.

Further, Londa Toloraia expressed her appreciation for ensuring the process of handing over the institution and the steps taken to date to enact the investigative powers of the Service. Tamar Kaldani expressed her warm wishes to the new Inspector in her future activities.

As the State Inspector, Londa Toloraia was elected by the Parliament of Georgia with 82 votes. She will head the service for the term of 6 years. Previously, Londa Toloraia served as the Head of Human Rights Protection and Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
