On November 25, 2016 training on personal data protection was held at the Office of the Inspector. It was conducted by the Training Manager of the Inspector’s Office, Natalia Mikeladze.

20 representatives from public and private organizations attended the training. Trainer talked about principles of data protection, legal grounds for data processing, functions and mandate of the Inspector, video surveillance, illegal disclosure of personal data, direct marketing opt-out systems and etc. Data subjects’ rights and guarantees for their protection were also discussed. Trainer introduced to the audience existing practice of the Inspector’s Office.
