If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. The issue of collecting the personal data of the electorate becomes more acute during the pre-election period. Citizens discuss being asked for their personal information, in particular their ID number and age, their signature on various documents, and their voting preferences.

If you have been addressed for personal data, you have the right not to disclose your personal data, and no one has the right to force you to disclose your information. It is your choice to what extent you will provide someone with your personal information. While making this decision, it is important to note:

Before disclosing the information, you have the right to know who is collecting the information, as well as for what purpose the information will be used in the future;

If you are asked to sign a document, you have the right to read the full text of the document;

You have the right not to disclose the data of your family members and friends without their consent.
