If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. Annual Report of the Personal Data Protection Inspector was discussed in the Committees of the Parliament

Personal Data Protection Inspector of Georgia, Mrs. Tamar Kaldani presented Annual Report for 2015 on the State of Personal Data Protection in Georgia and Activities of the Inspector to the joint session of the Legal and Human Rights Protection Committees of the Parliament on March 24, 2016.
Annual Report reflects results of conducted inspections, issued consultations and complaints dealt as well as state of personal data protection in public and private sectors in 2015.
The Inspector, Mrs. Tamar Kaldani introduced to the Members of Parliament and representatives of non-governmental organizations results of the last year’s work and mentioned that the number of citizens’ complaints and conducted inspections increased. 64 offences were revealed as a result of inspections; and administrative liability – fine or warning - was imposed on 41 organizations. Numerous legal and technical gaps were eliminated as a result of inspections.
Mrs. Tamar Kaldani discussed two stage monitoring system over covert eavesdropping of the telephone calls and oversight system over investigational activities related to the computer data. Besides, particular attention was paid to the activities aiming to raise public awareness on data protection.


Mrs. Tamar Kaldani answered the questions of the Members of Parliament and representatives of non-governmental organizations. She underlined the mandate and functions of the Inspector, and pointed out the challenges still existing in the area of personal data protection.
The Inspector also responded to the questions related to the recently published videos revealing private life and mentioned that it is important to take preventive measures, as well as to ensure rapid and effective investigation thereof.
Personal Data Protection Inspector presents the Report to the Parliament annually. The Report will be discussed on the plenary session of the Parliament as well.
