If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. The Personal Data Protection Office offers you an even more flexible opportunity: sign up in the Case Management System where you can submit a complaint, follow the process of hearing your complaint and receive comprehensive information - all in one virtual space.

Georgia Hosts International Conference on Personal Data Protection

On 17-18 May the Office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector hosts the 19th Meeting of Central and Eastern Europe Data Protection Authorities (CEEDPA). The high-level meeting, held for the first time in Georgia, was opened by the Personal Data Protection Inspector Tamar Kaldani and the Leader of Parliamentary Majority Archil Talakvadze.

The Meeting was attended by the heads and representatives of personal data protection supervisory authorities of CEEDPA member states. The participants shared the experience and best practices through the discussion of key aspects of personal data protection, achievements and existing challenges. The panel discussions dedicated to a range of topics covered the specific aspects of personal data protection: oversight systems over law enforcement sector in various member states; personal data protection and the internet; successful awareness raising campaigns, communication strategies; practice related to disclosure of court decisions and different approaches in various member states.

Within the scope of the meeting, the participants discussed the internal regulations and rules of CEEDPA, formats of intensified cooperation and further development of CEEDPA.

Central and Eastern European Data Protection Authorities (CEEDPA) aims to support the implementation of international data protection standards and share the experience and best practices of the member states. Georgia became the member of CEEDPA in 2014.
