Internet forum 2015 was held in Stockholm
2015-10-21 13:30:43Forth internet forum was opened today in Stockholm. Personal Data Protection Inspector, Mrs. Tamar Kaldani is attending the event.
Topic of this year’s forum is gender equality. The gender equality and internet accessibility is a global theme, and a matter of interest for different organizations; it is important to discuss what access to internet means and what is deemed as a restriction of access. The forum is the place for open debates on promoting the protection of human rights thorough free, open and secure internet.
Forum is attended by 400 participants from 92 countries, including representatives of the public, private and civil sectors, the world’s biggest organizations working in the area of human rights and internet technologies among them. The forum is organized by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
Stockholm internet forum was first held in 2012. Respect for human rights and global development is the main massage of the conference.
