If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. The Personal Data Protection Office offers you an even more flexible opportunity: sign up in the Case Management System where you can submit a complaint, follow the process of hearing your complaint and receive comprehensive information - all in one virtual space.

The opt-out mechanism from the advertising massages of Magticom and its partner organizations is altered

On June 27, 2015 Personal Data Protection Inspector received information on the modification of the standard terms of the service contract of the company Magticom. According to the changes customers signing the contract provide their consent to receive advertising/informational massages from Magticom and its partner organizations. In order to opt-out from the service customers had to send SMS to the specially designated number with the name of the advertiser.

The Office of the Inspector launched inspection of the issue on June 29 and requested the related documentation from the company. During the inspection several meetings with the representatives of Magticom were held. The Company took into account the recommendations of the Inspector and since July 13 customers have the opportunity to opt-out from all direct marketing massages by sending a message to the number *182#.

For the customers of the company Beeline the same service is available on the number *297#.

Customers have the opportunity to block all advertising massages or select the category of the advertising which is not interesting for them.
